Kolejny chiński smok. Przepiękny model, którego jakość wykonania zachwyca, a jego rozmiar dodatkowo potęguje efekt końcowy. Kilkaset łusek posiada 3-4 warstw różnych odcieni czerwonego, następnie rozjaśnianych pomarańczowym, żółtym i białym - pochłonęło to kilkanaście godzin pracy, ale było warto :). Dla porównania efektu rozmiaru dorzucam fotkę z modelem w klasycznym rozmiarze.
Another chinese dragon. The beautiful model which impressed me with its quality and size. And yeah, size is what makes this model appearance awesome. Several hundred dragon scales have 3-4 different layer shades of red, than highlighted with orange, yellow and white. Whole process took me several hours of work, but it was worth it :). For comparison I also include photo with a model in normal size.
Chyba nie trzeba nikomu przybliżać tych
postaci :). Drużyna przywędrowała do mnie od właściciela rycerza bretońskiego na pegazie. Wszystkie modele potraktowałem z tą samą
pieczołowitością ale najlepiej malowało mi się Gimliego i Gandalfa. Przy
Gimlim spędziłem chyba najwięcej czasu próbując dodać kilka smaczków
(naramienniki i wzorki na tunice). Za to przy Gandalfie fajnie było
pokombinować z odcieniami szarości. Co do jakości wykonania: Legolas i
Aragorn - słabo, natomiast Gimli, Boromir i Gandalf są zrobieni
świetnie.
I think that i don't
need to introduce those models to anyone :). Fellowship were brought to
me from the owner of the bretonian lord on pegasus. I had treated all
models with the same care but the most fun i had got with painting Gimli
and Gandalf. Model of Gimli took most of my time because of freehand
(shoulders and patterns on the tunic). On Gandalf it was quite fun to
work with different shades of gray. Quality of miniatures: Legolas and
Aragorn - poor, Gimli, Boromir and Gandalf - great.
